DENTAL VENEERS IN TURKEY
Treatment Duration: 2-5 Days
Dental veneers are types of restorations that cover only the front surface of the teeth to correct the shape, colour, and size in order to make the teeth more natural.
They can also be used to cover the gaps between teeth if orthodontic treatment is not suitable.
What are the types of veneers?
There are mainly 2 types of veneers according to the type of materials used.Composite Veneers
Composite material is applied directly by the dentist and cured with a light to restore the tooth's natural shape and colour. The main advantage of composite veneers is that they can be completed in a single appointment within 1 hour. Since composite is a cheaper material compared to ceramic, composite veneers are affordable.
However, they are prone to discoloration and chipping off therefore making them less durable.
Porcelain Laminate Veneers
A dental veneer is a thin layer of glass ceramic which is mainly used in cosmetic dentistry. They provide fantastic aesthetic results as they are translucent.Advantages of Laminate Veneers

- Transparent and natural look
- No discoloration even after being used for long years
- Minimally invasive to teeth (requires minimal or no tooth preparation)
- More durable
- Less dental plaque accumulation
- Can be performed quickly by our internal laboratory in Turkey so that you don't lose time and gain your smile and self-confidence back.

Is the procedure painful?
The answer is no. Since it is a minimally invasive procedure and is done under local anesthesia, patients do not feel pain during the procedure. Furthermore, in some cases, even local anesthesia is not needed as no tooth reduction is required.
What is a non-prep veneer?
Non-prep veneers are very thin laminate veneers. They are fitted without making any reduction on the tooth surface which makes these types of restorations reversible.Although it is great to have restoration without losing tooth structure, it is not always possible for every patient due to the variable tooth structure. Our dental team will make an evaluation during your consultation whether you are suitable for a non-prep restoration.
